Halloween is the most exciting holiday of the year. We love Halloween. The entire month of October is a hauntingly beautiful time of year with the fall foliage, crisp air, and pumpkin spice everything.
Some of us start in early September, hanging on to the Halloween spirit as long as we can. This is the time of year that we can be anything we want. The time of year where the supernatural and the macabre are the norms. It's a time of year we can be ourselves.
One of the best things about Halloween is to see our social media feeds filled with the delightfully spooky. Halloween memes are always the best, from political and social commentary to the sexually perverse to the wholesome joys of the holiday.
WHEN IS HALLOWEEN?
Some people get depressed when the summer is over. The swimming, the cookouts, the long days, the Fourth of July parties, and of course, back to school. But for many of us, the end of summer means it's time for Halloween.

We cannot wait for the end of August when the Halloween stores come back to life. It is a very dangerous place to bring the credit card, because we want to buy everything. The allure is real. The Halloween store hypnotizes us every year.

When you're sending your children off to school for their annual Halloween Parties, make sure the eyeball cookies you make don't end up looking like something else. They taste great but it might get junior sent home from class.

Ok, the cookies were a mistake, but this was intentional. Every year the workplace has a pumpkin carving contest, and for some reason, I have been disqualified from participating next year.

Back in the day, we just went trick or treating. We didn't care if the candy was gender neutral or vegan or organic. Certainly nobody was caramel phobic. Kids these days have gotten soft.

The world is in a sad state of affairs, but despite everything crumbling around us, there is still plenty of happiness in seeing Halloween displays and merchandise everywhere. It brings us a little joy in a world gone mad.

There are the girls who like to dress slutty on Halloween. It's the one time of year they can get away with being scantly clad without harsh judgement from society. There's nothing wrong with that. But then there are the awesome girls who will dress up as Violent Beauregarde after she turned into a blueberry.
WHY DO SOME PEOPLE NOT LIKE HALLOWEEN?
There are people, believe it or not, on this planet who just don't like Halloween. It's a bizarre thing but to each their own. Their big Halloween plans include getting drunk and putting up the Christmas tree.
SOME EVEN HATE PUMPKIN SPICE EVERYTHING
There's a growing trend of TikTokers who put out videos declaring how much they hate Halloween and more specifically, Pumpkin Spiced Lattes. They're an unfortunate set of people who we laugh at because Halloween is awesome!
In conclusion, while some people don't like Halloween, it's a growing holiday for most American adults. We have no time for the haters. We will always love Halloween!
